On September 29th-30th, 2016, the first national congress of Initiative Hausnotruf was held in Berlin. With various presentations, around 300 participants were informed about the topic “Demographic Shift and Technological Developments: Today and in the Future”.
The event was kicked off on Thursday evening by Franz Müntefering, the former federal minister. Mr. Müntefering discussed how positive telecare is, allowing people to stay in their familiar environment.
On Friday, Ulla Schmidt, Vice President of the German Bundestag and former federal minister, kicked off the events of the day with a presentation. A podium discussion followed and there were several other presentations on demographic shift.
In the interim, the participants had the opportunity to come into contact with different telecare manufacturers.
