The wireless motion sensor (passive infrared detector) is used in combination with a TeleAlarm Carephone to monitor activity and also detect intrusion.
The wireless motions sensor is installed in the user’s property and upon detection of movement, the motion sensor transmits a signal to the Carephone. When the Carephone receives the signal, it can reset an activity monitor. The activity monitor automatically raises an alert to the control centre if there has been no activity in the property for a pre-determined period of time.
If the Carephone is in ‘away’ mode, the motion sensor can act as an intruder alarm sensor and can raise an intruder alert to the call centre.
