This year’s Altenpflege nursing care trade fair was very successful for TeleAlarm Europe GmbH. At the leading event for the care industry, held in Hanover, the trade fair team introduced our innovations in the field of home emergency calls and presented the NurseCall line in detail, including the new IP products.
Additional focus on sustainability at the trade fair
This year’s trade fair presentation was all about sustainability. In addition to the products and software solutions, the company also presented its environmentally conscious production methods in order to establish the topic of sustainable production with customers and partners. TeleAlarm followed the motto “Think green”, which represents a variety of environmental and climate-related protection standards that the company meets.
Other product presentations included the new TA74 family carephone, which is equipped with an integrated GSM module and is IP capable. The control centre management system and new functions of TeleAlarm Cloud Services were also presented. Technicians Tom Nickel and Sven Willhoeft were on site to answer questions about the software platform and other technical features.
International interest in TeleAlarm products
Visitors to the trade fair showed great interest in our home emergency call products and accessories, such as the new Vibby OAK wireless fall sensor. The NurseCall line, especially the IP-based solutions, were particularly well received. NurseCall specialist Paul Leferink travelled from Switzerland and was on hand for the entire trade fair to tell visitors about this new product. Colleagues from the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland also took part in the event, including Jurgen von Helvoort, Pol Mandeville and Michael Hendriksen. In addition to colleagues, customers from abroad also travelled to Hanover to assess TeleAlarm’s products and discuss them in person. TeleAlarm was able to present and explain products in person to interested parties from Denmark, customers from Italy and France, as well as important Belgian customers.

TeleAlarm supports nature conservation
The trade fair presentation also included a competition, in which 50 cents per participant were donated to the nature conservation association Naturschutzbund Deutschland (NABU) Landesverband Sachsen e.V. As part of the competition, participants had to guess how many Tx transmitters the company’s employees had in a glass at their trade fair stand.
“I was very surprised and pleased to have won first prize. Thank you for the 5-star Aktion Mensch ticket,” said the winner Marion J. from Soltau, who was the only one to guess the number of Tx transmitters exactly at 296.
Aspects of sustainable production presented
The system manufacturer Leesys presented resource-conscious aspects of the production process. As our parent company, Leesys – Leipzig Electronic Systems GmbH – works closely with TeleAlarm on both development and production. Environmentally friendly and sustainable production is of central importance to both companies.
Nadine Rollert and Nicole Bandow from TeleAlarm were on site for the entire trade fair as in-house contacts and are grateful for the huge interest shown, and were delighted with the success of the event. The trade fair team is already looking forward to the Altenpflege 2019 fair, which will take place from 2 to 4 April at the Nuremberg exhibition centre.
The Altenpflege trade fair is the leading event for all products and services in the care industry. This year, around 500 exhibitors presented their latest solutions and products over the three days of the fair. The focus of the trade fair is on the diverse areas within care for the elderly. Market trends and innovations from the inpatient, daycare and outpatient fields of nursing are presented there. At the same time, experts and major players from the nursing care industry discussed current trends and topics at the “Future of Nursing Care” conference, held alongside the trade fair.
